Rooms are"funky" carpets are weird and diferant everywhere you go, decor is odd, and the hallways are very confined, however the service was great and the room was overall nice, even with the cosmic carpets
Not very old but already getting run down. Empty beer cans left in the window sill, crumbs on the bedspread upon arrival to room. Clearly the cleaners are rushed, I don't think my room was well cleaned at all. Pointed this out at the front desk and she shrugged it off as if it was normal operational protocol, every guest gets complimentary "Lucky Lager" cans and mystery crumbs upon arrival. I slept in my cloths, didn't trust the bed was cleaned. Won't be back.
Second time at this Hotel .first time was a great experience .Second time around not so much .Clearly the room i have had a smoker in it .The place stinks. I got woken up sever times during the night by this swooshing sound. Impossible to sleep. i will not stay here again, period.
Was a terrible stay. I was there for 5 nights, attending a work related course. I never received housekeeping for 3 of those days. There was ample time to have it done, being that I was away from the hotel between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm. The bathroom sink was another story, when I turned on the tap, the sink drain discharges a whole bunch of stubble clippings, and of course doesnt drain well at all. Very expensive price considering no house keeping, dirty, and advertised two queen beds, but recived 2 double beds that were hard, no pillow top, also lacked adequate blankets to stay warm. During my stay I caught a nasty cold, Im certain from unsanitary bed sheets. Upon checking out, I was never asked how my stay was, Im sure the clerk already knew it was not a pleasant stay.. I would not recommend visiting the crystal star hotel.
