Normally a good place to go. But last night my wife and I decided to go to dinner with a couple friends. We were shown to our table right away. We waited for over 15 minutes for another staff member to acknowledge us, to no avail. We left after that.
I am a real big pizza and lasagna lover. Staff here are incredibly welcoming and they do a great job.I'll say I'm biased towards crispy and crunchy texture. Here the pizza crust was indeed crunchy and delicious. But the centre of the pizza was more on the soft side. The lasagna was good compared to the rest of metro Edmonton. It was neither too salty or sweet. I would definitely like to come back to this location.
No gluten free options. After searching for gluten free restaurants in Leduc and perusing the online menu, we thought we'd have a variety of options at Kosmos. However, even though the menu indicates gluten free sauces, breads, etc, there was none to be had according to our server. Our server made countless trips to the chef inquiring as to our options. There wasn't gluten free burger buns or bread. The burger meat apparently had gluten in it. The coating on the french fries contained gluten. The sauces we inquired about contained gluten. Needless to say, we had to inform our server that we would have to leave.
9 Wings on Wednesdays are $7. Dill pickle, S&P, Saskatchewan flavored wings were awesome. Shared a large chef salad with husband too. The ham and turkey meat in the salad was processed (which was a tad of a disappointment).Music was just right for conversation. Good variety of genres that were playing fro. the juke box.There are two pool tables. We've played there a couple of other nights.Will be back. Tammy was our server and she was awesome!
Used to be our favourite spot to go and we would go 2-3 times per week. Service staff is Always great and they would get a 5 star review. The kitchen however is ruining them and gets 2 stars. This is the only restaurant where we've sent back overcooked prime rib (well done, supposed to be medium), only to have the Kitchen Manager/ Chef send the same plate back saying it wasn't over cooked. Servers were very embarrassed to have to bring it back, only to have us send it back again. Kitchen not flexible with selections. Ownership needs to deal with the kitchen. If you want drinks, servers and the bar are great. If you want food, take your chances.
