About 2008My computer had some serious malfunction, so I brought it in for them to look at. At work, I received a call that went something like this " Oh, you are not going to like what I have to tell you. Your motherboard is fried. And to replace that motherboard, if you can find it, would be about $600." The motherboard that I chose was a Lambordini of its type, and it just seemed suspicious that after 2 years of use maybe, it would be "fried". So I took it to another shop. Somehow a USB port failed. Cost to cut the wire by the tech $15.
