The drinks are assorted and made really well. Moscow Mule was my favourite. The food though, lacked flavour. The burgers didn't have any spices in them and mine was cooked to the point of being too dry, the potato salad was more like dill pickle and potato salad, heavy on the dill. This place could elevate to the next level if they tasted what they were serving first before serving it to guests and kept things consistent.Thank being said, prices for what you do get is good, but can be so much better with a little more flavour.
Very cozy and charming inside. The pub grub was great, wish they had nachos made with tortilla chips instead of potato chips. However food was great. The self serve beer wall was very cool. Pay up at the end of you stay, also cool. There are also great seating options booths, which are kinda semi private. Comfy chairs by the fireplace, barfly seating and also private boardroom style seating. Something for everyone.
Fun little Canadian Bar that was attached to my Best Western hotel as an American Im always impressed with the Canadian culture and customer service and cleanliness and atmosphere. The manger here is awesome seems to be a mind reader he can look at your beer and know what it is and he can guess your profession with freaky accuracy. I recommend this place if not just for the friendly atmosphere but the outstanding customer service A+++.
My wife and I had a fabulous experience here. We sat just outside the dining room in a pleasant room that connects the restaurant to the hotel. It was a little bit quieter there and easier to talk.Candace was courteous, hospitable, and had a very good knowledge of beer and food. We often split dinners, and often see the level of service change when it's a known fact that our order will be smaller. It didn't make any difference to her.We split a burger, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife said it sang in her mouth. The IPA I had was fabulous. There are plenty of other choices too. If you are staying at the hotel like we were, there is no need to go anywhere else for dinner.
Really good food that is reasonably priced. Dessert was scrumptious. There is also a beer wall which is pretty cool. It is all microbrews. All that I sampled were quite good. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely go back!
